The Bahamas to Host Virtual Romance Expo

The Bahamas has long been known as the world's premier wedding and honeymoon destination. According to Joy Jibrilu, Director General of the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism & Aviation, "With intimate, secluded cays, unmatched turquoise waters, and pink-and-white sand beaches, it's easy to understand why The Bahamas is considered one of the world's most romantic destinations" (eturbonews.com). 

In response to the countless couples who have had to postpone or change their romantic getaway plans over the last year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Bahamas is hosting a romance expo titled From The Bahamas with Love to make planning a wedding, honeymoon, anniversary, or any romantic vacation in 2021 and beyond as easy as possible.

Bringing together industry leaders, partners, hotels, venues, and services; the expo will showcase the vast offerings for romantic escapes throughout The Bahamas. Trade and consumer participants alike will benefit from a diverse series of panel discussions with experts from across all romance industry sectors, along with opportunities to network directly with partners.

The From The Bahamas with Love expo will feature two virtual events:

1. For trade professionals--including travel agents and event planners.

• Wednesday, March 3, 2021 (from 1 pm to 4 pm EST).

2. For consumers--including soon-to-be engaged or recently engaged couples, future brides and grooms, bachelorette party planners, honeymoon do-over seekers, and more.

• Wednesday, March 10, 2021 (from 4 pm to 7 pm EST).

Each event will offer engaging panel discussions and breakout sessions with topics highlighting current trends.
