About Me:

Travelling to England and attending Reading University; Hyacinth was one of only two women to have completed an Honor’s degree in Building Surveying. During this period, she also completed the examinations of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Hyacinth’s persona was shaped in Trinidad and Tobago, where she was born and enjoyed years of socialization and education but it was marriage and family life that guided her decision of making Grenada her new home. Initially she worked as a Building Surveyor with the Ministry of Communications and Works. Then, Hyacinth was privileged in being the first Valuation Officer, attached to the Rating Division of the Ministry of Finance. Another first, she was the inaugural Building Officer attached to Grenada Development Bank (GDB). She later co-founded, Property Development Agency Ltd (PDA). A range of services, consistent with her professional training, were offered. These included: Building Construction, Project management, Property management, Valuations for real estate sales, mortgages, insurances, compulsory purchase etc. These services also included the sale of residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural property and rentals. With the acquisition of the RE/MAX Franchise in 1994, the services of Real Estate Sales and Rentals were extracted from PDA and offered by RE/MAX Grenada. Over the next two decades, and with the Grace of God, Hyacinth has become an Award-winning real estate executive who has continued to be dedicated to providing the best professional service and advice in matters relating to real estate. Apart from her continuing education through RE/MAX University, Conventions and Training Sessions she has sustained her membership, in good standing, of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
